Obiettivi formativi
This teaching includes two separate seminars, the target is: Provide students with the theoretical and practical notions to manage and carry out cannulation and peripheral venipuncture with and without ultrasound guidance. Provide students with an in-depth study of the scientific English language, to perfect and develop listening and understanding skills of written texts, both in general situations and in healthcare settings, consolidate and correctly use the technical and medical-scientific terminology concerning radiological techniques medical and diagnostic procedures of the specialty.

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi
At the end of the course the student should be able to:
- know the peripheral venous anatomy and identify the veins suitable for cannulation; manage the material necessary for the procedure; manage the patient during cannulation procedures;
- understand and use basic grammar rules; use medical scientific vocabulary; read and translate simple scientific texts; demonstrate understanding by answering questions; explain in one’s own words a body system, technique, procedure and/or disease; write short medical texts.
